For the housing, the mm measurements of the base area correspond to width x depth (e.g. 564 x 725 mm); with drawers, to the useable dimension (e.g. 459 x 612 mm).

Huni Italiana units (U) are a practical representation of the basic grid. They serve to define the clear relationship between housing, drawer and partition material. With the examples reported underneath, the housing and the drawers that fit in this housing have identical Huni Italiana units, although they have different millimetre measurements.
